What is the percent routed from a Subcatchment in SWMM5?

What if the percent routing is 100 percent?

  1. If you choose outlet only as the subarea routing both impervious areas and the pervious area go to the outlet node or the outlet Subcatchment
  2. If you choose pervious as the subarea routing 100 percent of the impervious areas will flow to the pervious area and the pervious area runoff will go to the outlet node or the outlet Subcatchment
  3. If you choose impervious as the subarea routing 100 percent of the pervious areas will flow to the impervious area and the impervious area runoff will go to the outlet node or the outlet Subcatchment

What if the percent routing is 50 percent?

  1. If you choose outlet only as the subarea routing both impervious areas and the pervious area go to the outlet node or the outlet Subcatchment, the percent routing value does not matter.
  2. If you choose pervious as the subarea routing 50 percent of the impervious areas will flow to the pervious area and the pervious area runoff will go to the outlet node or the outlet Subcatchment. The other 50 percent of the imperious runoff will go right away to the outlet.
  3. If you choose impervious as the subarea routing 50 percent of the pervious areas will flow to the impervious area and the impervious area runoff will go to the outlet node or the outlet Subcatchment. The other 50 percent of the pervious runoff will go right away to the outlet.
